My Name Ethan Manwaring, and I am currently 20 years old. I was born in Salt Lake and raised in vernal utah. When I was 18, I moved to Ogden to pursue my plumbing career. Along the way, my father-in-law had a pipe break at his home back in Vernal. The pipe break was supposed to be around 3 feet in the ground. Being the plumber in the family, I drove back to Vernal one weekend to fix their pipe and stop sewage from backing up into their home. I knew that their property was on a septic system, but I never had that much information on it or how it worked. Upon uncovering the sewer pipe from the ground, it ended up being about 7 ft in the ground. I had to locate the septic tank first because it was so far beneath the earth. It was fascinating to uncover this tank and fix the broken pipe. We had a family friend pump out the tank, and as I helped him, he explained a lot about septic systems that I would have never known beforehand. My dream is to have my own plumbing company one day, but before I do that, there is a lot of schooling I have to do first. I just couldn't wait; I was eager to start sooner. It wasn't long after I helped my father-in-law that I started to look into septic tanks and how they work. I found out that there is separate schooling involved to be certified in onsite wastewater services; over the next year, I completed all required training and started EM Septic & Testing. My goals are to provide efficient wastewater services to homeowners in need. With the advancement of SludgeHammer solutions, I can now provide advanced wastewater treatment to homeowners in need. Solutions that can be more cost-effective compared to other solutions.
